JEWELRY CARE

Please use caution when applying hairsprays, lotions, colognes, and perfumes when wearing your jewels. Their application may cause the gemstones or metals to tarnish. When cleaning fine jewelry, it is always best to leave it to a professional as many home cleaning methods may cause damage. Our jewelry is made to last, and with the proper care you can keep your pieces looking great for years. 

Store your treasures in the pouch they came with.

GEMSTONES, PEARLS & CRYSTALS

Turquoise

Avoid direct contact of this stone with cosmetics, lotions and heat. To clean, gently wipe with a soft cotton cloth. Do not use any ultrasonic cleaners or cleansing agents on this natural stone.

Semiprecious & Precious Stones

Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and steam cleaning for all semi-precious stones, as these methods may cause damage. Avoid exposing them to high heat. Beaded bracelets strung on high strength elastic stretch cord are not waterproof. 

Pearls

Allow fragrances and cosmetics to dry completely before wearing your pearl jewelry. If needed, gently wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth to remove any residue. Store separately from other jewelry to prevent surface scratches and avoid storing in plastic which will cause pearls to yellow over time. 

JEWELRY REPAIRS

Aziza Lyons jewelry is made to be worn and loved every day. While we craft all our pieces with care and longevity in mind, wear and tear is normal and can lead to damage on even the most durable pieces. That is why we offer a repair service for a small fee, so you can wear your jewelry again and again.

Wherever possible, we’ll repair your jewelry piece at a small fee assessed on a case-by-case basis. All associated shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. To be eligible for a repair, you must have proof of purchase from Aziza Lyons. To request a repair, please email us at shop@azizalyons.com. We’ll get back to you within 1-2 business days.

HOW TO CARE FOR AZIZA LYONS SCARVES

Our handwoven scarves are made with silk, wool, pashmina cashmere or a blend of one of those three fibers. Each of these pieces are woven and embroidered by hand and we recommend handling them with care. Cold hand wash or dry clean only.
